Commercial HVACR Estimator At Advance Air & Heat, we provide HVAC/R service, maintenance and installation to commercial, industrial, public & private institutions in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

We are currently looking for a dynamic Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team! This position oversees remodel, retrofit and new construction HVAC & Refrigeration design and estimating project needs, materials, and budget.
We have a great team of installers and are looking for someone who wants to be a pivotal member of our team's growth and success! Commercial HVAC Estimator Work Hours:
Full time hours - 40 hours per week Pay Scale:
$45-55 per hour, depending on experience and performance

Summary:
Estimate commercial HVAC & Refrigeration projects and plan, coordinate, execute, maintain & manage an effective field construction organization utilizing the necessary labor, equipment, materials, tools, subcontractors, and other resources to effectively perform the scope of work within an allotted budget and time schedule.
Includes new construction, design-build projects and existing retrofit change outs, as well as small repairs.

Responsibilities:
Develop long term relationships and build partnerships with customers, co-workers and suppliers Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets while providing customers with outstanding value and service Conduct customer needs assessments and sales proposal estimates and specifications to promote products and services Utilize sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy meetings and post construction meetings, as requested Other duties as assigned Experience/
Qualifications:
Direct sales experience in HVAC commercial for 2-5 years is preferred.
Extensive building systems knowledge, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, piping, duct work, and installation Knowledge of commercial building codes for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical Ability to read and understand drawings, prepare RFPs, solicit subcontractors and price material and equipment Experience performing detailed take-offs from drawings Ability to work with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers on design-build projects which include budgeting and pricing Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and estimating software Excellent communication both written and verbal Must be self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to influence customer's key decision-makers Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory Pass background check and drug screen Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Knowledge of the construction process (RFI, RFP, Change orders etc.
) Desired Education/Certifications:
BA/BS degree with 4-7
